Laser marking machines occasionally have problems. If the problems cannot be solved in time, the delivery time of the product may be affected. In fact, although laser marking machine maintenance is more troublesome, the principle is very simple, and there are some problems that we can solve by ourselves:
Fault 1: The laser intensity decreases and the mark is not clear enough
Solution:
1. Whether the laser resonant cavity changes; fine-tune the resonant cavity lens. Make the output spot the best;
2. The acousto-optic crystal is offset or the output energy of the acousto-optic power supply is low; adjust the position of the acousto-optic crystal or increase the working current of the acousto-optic power supply;
3. The laser entering the galvanometer deviates from the center: adjust the laser;
4. If the current is adjusted to about 20A and the photosensitivity is still not strong enough: the krypton lamp is aging, replace the new lamp.
Fault 2: The krypton lamp cannot be triggered (refer to the NTP power supply manual)
Solution:
1. Check all power connection cables;
2. The high-voltage krypton lamp is aging, replace the krypton lamp.
Fault 3: There is a long and three short alarm when online
The following are several reasons and troubleshooting methods
1. The software does not work, the motherboard is loose, please re-plug it when the computer is turned on.
2. When the Q drive alarm light is on, check whether the 37th and 15th pins are loose, and whether the Q switch is flowing water normally.
3. When the laser power alarm light is on, check whether the chiller is turned on and whether the lamp is damaged (if damaged, the lamp needs to be replaced).
Fault 4: Reasons for no light
There are several reasons and solutions
1. The optical path screws of the whole machine are loose, and the screws need to be tightened.
2. Is there too much dust in the gun body to prevent damage to the gun endoscope? If found, the gun endoscope must be replaced.
3. When the chiller is turned on for a long time without turning on the laser power to light up, it will cause ice and no light. It is necessary to turn off the power system of the whole machine for 1 hour and then restart it.
4. The lamp tube is aging or the laser power decreases, and the lamp tube must be replaced.
5. After working for a long time, the laser power decreases. Open the bottom cover of the gun body and adjust the gun endoscope.
Fault 5: Common computer problems
There are several problems
1. Whether the graphics during processing are complex, it must be checked.
2. Do not connect the online computer to the network cable, it controls the laser system alone.
3. Slow operation, please do not be too impatient at this time to avoid crash.
4. Please pay attention to prevent viruses to prevent system errors.
Fault 6: The XY axis of the workbench is not accurate
1. Is the workbench slide rail screw loose?
2. The glass on the workbench depends on the customer's requirements. It can be replaced with an iron plate or a plexiglass plate, and the balance effect can be adjusted under the glass.
3. The right side and the upper and lower corners of the workbench can be equipped with an electronic ruler, and the electronic ruler can be installed to facilitate the needs of customers.
4. The screw holes on the workbench can be used for customer positioning, which is denied by the product.
Fault 7: Jumping during operation, and the position is roughly fixed
The following reasons and troubleshooting methods:
1. The synchronous belt is stretched for too long and deformed-----Replace a new synchronous belt.
2. There is dirt in the small gear groove of the large and small wheel reduction wheel device-----clean the dirt in the small gear groove.
3. The small gear of the transmission shaft is dirty-----clean the dirt in the gear groove of the transmission shaft.
Fault 8: The starting and end points of the closed line are not closed
There are several reasons:
1. The synchronous belt is too loose-----tighten the synchronous belt.
2. The connection between the gear and the shaft is loose - retighten.
3. The X-axis guide rail and the Y-axis guide rail are not vertical - adjust the verticality of the X-axis and Y-axis guide rails.
4. The gap between the slider and the guide rail is large - replace the slider.
Fault 9: If you encounter a situation where you cannot cut through
There are several reasons and troubleshooting methods:
1. The vertical light is not correct - adjust the vertical light, and readjust the light path if necessary.
2. Improper focal length adjustment - readjust the focal length.
3. The voltage is unstable, the voltage is low, and the laser current is too small. Replace a larger voltage regulator and increase the laser current output.
4. The light outlet of the air nozzle is blocked by sputtering - clean the air nozzle.
5. The protective gas is blocked - clean the air pump, air filter, and check the air circulation path.
6. The reflector and focusing lens are contaminated - clean the reflector and focusing lens with cleaning fluid.
7. The power of the laser tube decreases - replace the laser tube.
8. The light output control module on the main board is faulty - replace the main board.
9. There is a potentiometer device, the potentiometer setting is too small or it is faulty--adjust the potentiometer setting or replace the potentiometer.
10. The energy setting in the software is too small----increase the energy.
11. Material problem----please choose the right material
12. The focusing lens is cracked or the focusing effect is poor----replace the focusing lens.
13. There is too much dirt in the laser tube and the heat dissipation effect is poor----use pure water.
Operation matters
1. It is strictly forbidden to start the laser power supply and Q-switching power supply without water or abnormal water circulation;
2. The Q power supply is not allowed to work without load (that is, the output end of the Q-switching power supply is suspended);
3. If an abnormal phenomenon occurs, first turn off the galvanometer switch and key switch, and then check;
4. It is not allowed to start other components before the krypton lamp is ignited to prevent high voltage from entering and damaging the components;
5. Note that the output end (anode) of the laser power supply is suspended to prevent ignition and breakdown with other electrical appliances;
⑥ Keep the internal circulation water clean. Clean the water tank regularly and replace it with clean deionized water or pure water.
Use and replacement of krypton lamps
Turn off the water cooler and laser power supply.
Open the three upper chamber covers, take out the lamp or crystal to be replaced, replace it and put it back in, and install the chamber cover. Turn on the water cooler and laser power supply, and adjust the laser power supply current to about (15~20) A. Place a small piece of wood or black paper between the front diaphragm and the beam expander, and you should see the light spot formed by laser ablation. If not, slightly adjust the three knobs of the front diaphragm frame until the light spot appears.
After the laser is debugged, the three knobs of the front diaphragm frame should be adjusted repeatedly to make the light spot the strongest. If the laser is too strong or the brightness is too high to be observed, the power supply current can be reduced.
Turn off the laser power supply.
Special attention: the time to replace the krypton lamp.
The krypton lamp in the laser factory states that the service life of the krypton lamp is 300 hours, but due to different user conditions, the above time cannot be used as the sole basis for replacing the krypton lamp. With the increase of usage time, the luminous efficiency of the krypton lamp decreases, and the laser output also weakens. In order to obtain sufficient laser output, many users increase the current of the laser power supply to enhance the luminescence of the krypton lamp, which accelerates the aging of the krypton lamp, forming a vicious cycle, and sometimes leads to lamp explosion. In order to prevent this phenomenon from happening, we recommend that users decide whether to replace the krypton lamp according to the following method.
When replacing a new krypton lamp, the laser power supply ammeter value during normal marking must be recorded as the standard current value.
When the krypton lamp gradually ages, increase the laser power supply current output, but the ammeter value should not exceed 1.25 times the standard current value.
For example: the current value of the new krypton lamp is 20A when marking. After using it for a period of time, if the current value is increased to 22.5A and still cannot mark normally, the krypton lamp should be replaced.
Choice
First, it cannot be solved by other existing methods and can only be solved by laser processing;
Second, it can be solved by other existing processing methods, but if laser processing is used, it can greatly improve product quality, improve production efficiency and
significantly increase economic and social benefits;
Third, it is necessary to fully consider the matching links related to laser processing in the processing flow;
Fourth, it is necessary to attach importance to the application of processing technology that combines laser processing with conventional processing, so as to make full use of their respective strengths;
Fifth, in practical applications, domestic equipment should be used as much as possible. Doing so will help promote the development of national industry and innovation; for the users themselves, the use of domestic equipment has the advantages of being cheap, easy and reliable to maintain, and suitable for my country's national conditions.
